Ernst Kubitschek unterrichtet am Tiroler Landeskonservatorium und am "Mozarteum"; Editionen von Musik des 17.und 18.Jhs.; CD-Aufnahmen und Konzerte mit Blockflöte und Orgel; musikwissenschaftliche Publikationen, in denen ihm das Aufzeigen der engen Verbindung zwischen der barocken Musiktheorie und der Aufführungspraxis besonderes Anliegen ist. Verleihung des Jacob Stainer-Preises für Verdienste um die Alte Musik.
