Barockharfe, Historische Harfen

Johanna Seitz erforscht und spielt historische Harfen, von der gotischen Harfe über die mehrreihigen Barockharfen bis zu den frühen Pedalharfen. Sie konzertiert mit Nuovo Aspetto, 33zwo, dem Freiburger Barockorchester & Barockconsort, Collegium 1704 (Vaclav Luks), Dorothee Oberlinger, Concerto Köln, Musica Temprana, Stephan Temmingh, dem Capricornus Consort Basel u.a. Zahlreiche Radio- und CD Aufnahmen dokumentieren ihr Wirken, u.a. zwei Welt-Ersteinspielungen von Harfenkonzerten von W. Hertel und G. F. Wagenseil. Sie gibt Masterclasses und Fortbildungen für historische Harfe und Aufführungspraxis im In- und Ausland, u.a. am Mozarteum Salzburg, der Hochschule München oder Kattowitz und ist Herausgeberin einer Harfenmusikreihe bei der Edition Walhall.

Johanna Seitz researches and plays historical harps from the Gothic harp, through double and triple baroque harps to the early pedal harps. She performs in concert with nuovo aspetto, 33zwo, the Freiburger Barockorchester & Barockconsort, Collegium 1704 (Vaclav Luks), Dorothee Oberlinger, Concerto Köln, Musica Temprana, Stephan Temmingh, the Capricornus Consort Basel and others. Her work is documented by numerous radio and CD recordings including two world premiere recordings of harp concertos by W. Hertel and G.F. Wagenseil. Johanna Seitz holds master classes and training programs for historical harp and historically informed performance in Germany and abroad, including at the Salzburg Mozarteum and the Universities of Munich and Kattowitz. She is also editor of a harp music series for Edition Walhall.

Der Kurs steht auch Spielern der modernen Harfe offen, welche die historischen Instrumente kennenlernen möchten. Instrumente werden in Zell dafür zur Verfügung stehen.
